"Got off the plane, dumped my bag at the hotel, and hit
an open air event at Casa de la Cultura, a big open space with stage where
the Havana Jazz Festival is held. Jazz trumpeter Bobby Carcasses explained
his band was still in rehearsal and not ready to play. So he did an impromptu
couple of numbers with AfroCuba, showing off his jazz scat vocals."
